Meet the Person Behind the Magic!

Steppin' Out Dance Company is the result of Jennifer Giles Baker's hard work, 20 years of choreography experience, and dedication to the art of dance. Since 2007, she has been inspiring the next generation of dancers to develop their talents and become the best individuals they can be inside SODC’s studio and out in the world. 
Jennifer has become an award winning choreographer with competitions such as Showstopper, VIP, Celebration Talent, etc. She has won more than 25 choreography awards, hundreds of overalls, and trained dancers on teams such as Apache Belles, TX State Strutters, Kilgore Rangerettes, Dallas Desperados, Texas Legends, SFA Pom Squad, and pro teams across the state. 
Under the direction of Mrs Baker, SODC has done 6 college bowl games for the halftime shows including, Sugar, Orange, and Alamo among others- and has worked with artists and choreographers such as Andy Grammar, Little Big Town, Mandy Moore, Dee Caspery, Nico and Vinz, and Cris Judd to name a few. Most recently Jennifer was involved in the direction and choreography of the Pro Team: Mesquite Outlaws in their inaugual season and now runs the dance program for the SONshine Center, a center for adults with special needs.

*July 8th and 9th : Nationals Break (don't worry there's still 4 weeks in July)
*August 10th - 14th : Back to School Break
